Updated Mon 19th July
As of Monday 19th July face masks are no longer mandatory for your appointment. HOWEVER if you feel safer please do continue to wear a face mask to your appointment and I will be happy to continue to wear one with you.
My priority is to keep you as safe as possible, and prior to re-opening I have implemented a number of changes which I would like to make you aware of. During the time we have been closed I have completed the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention and Control course which is accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists Ltd, the UK trade body for our industry. I have since made a number of changes in the way that we operate that you will notice on your next visit.
If I feel ill or have symptoms of COVID-19 I will self-isolate immediately and not come into the salon. This may mean that I will have to cancel your appointment at short notice. I appreciate that this may be inconvenient but is done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled I hope you will be able to re-book again. If you have pre-paid you will be issued a full refund.
If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or show any symptoms of COVID-19 please advise us as soon as possible and DO NOT COME TO THE SALON FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT.
VISITING THE SALON
For your safety and to maintain social distancing I ask that you attend your appointment as close to the appointment time as possible. Please don't turn up early for appointments as this may mean you come into contact with other clients who are just leaving.
I have increased the frequency of cleaning making sure that common areas such as door handles, surfaces etc. are disinfected between each client.
All tools and equipment are disinfected in line with specific manufacturers instructions for your safety.
Wherever possible single item implements/disposables will be used and disposed of safely to avoid cross infection.
Hand sanitiser will be available for you to use when you enter the treatment room.
DURING YOUR TREATMENTS
I and my colleagues understand the importance of hand hygiene and will ensure that we wash/sanitise our hands according to NHS guidelines before the start of your treatment.
I will try to make your treatment as safe, comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If you have any concerns please do let me know so that I can give you the reassurance to enjoy your treatments safely.
All of these procedures have been put into place for your safety and mine. I will continue to take advice from the Government and NHS regarding safe practice and will amend them as necessary.
Thank you for your understanding
